The following general tips are useful for all of the cups, with more specific tips to follow under each heading below. Sora can participate in the first four tournaments by speaking with Pain, the blue devil, in the??? Description: "Fight alongside your friends. That being said, spells like Magnet and Thunder especially at higher levels are just as good. However, it is possible to defeat all the Heartless, ending this wave early.
If you aren't at the point goal, pause, and select Retry. You unlock an Achievement. Rookie Win the Pain and Panic Cup. All the enemies in the Paradox version of this cup are the same, just powered up. Note that Donald and Goofy remain in the party during Wave 8.
Leon and Yuffie have greatly increased health bars but fight the same. You shouldn't need to resort to any tricks to hit the point goal. Description: "A solo fight using Sora. The Drive Gauge fills faster than usual, and Sora can use Drives alone. If you are just burning through to get the Achievement, consider dropping into Master Form and casting magic. At round 8, the environment in the arena will turn dark. Lock-on to enemies to find them, or use Magnet to bring them all together.
The fight against Cerberus is just like every other time you have fought him. It makes Sora temporarily invincible, and does a rather great deal of damage to Cerberus. Novice Hero Win the Cerberus Cup. All the battles in this version of the Cerberus Cup have an approximately five-minute time limit. During the Titan Cup, Sora begins every battle with a full Drive Gauge, and can summon without any allies.
In addition, Sora has a Hit Counter in the top left corner of the screen. Each time Sora gets hit, this number decreases. Reaching 0 will cause the tournament to end. The point goal of 5, is quite high and can be difficult to reach.
During the first wave, allow the enemies to bring Sora's health down to critical, then summon Stitch. One of his abilities causes enemies to drop HP orbs; in the tournament, these are turned into points orbs. While Stitch is up, run or Glide around the outside of the arena.
I was able to reach 5, points by the end of the third wave doing this. Depending on your luck, this number can be higher or lower. Just take care not to let the hit counter decrease too far. Hercules is much easier here than he was in KH1. He will still occasionally glow gold and become invulnerable, but this effect is short-lived. Stay away from him while he glows, and lay out the combos when it goes away. Artisan Hero Win the Titan Cup. Sora gets a point hit count this time, instead of Use Wave 3 and the Stitch trick to hit the point goal early.
Then just coast through to the final battle. There are quite a few standing torches during these fights. Destroying them will drop points orbs! Equip Fire on a shortcut, and maybe equip some Ethers or better to Sora.
Also, you know, do the Stitch trick. The final wave features Hades as an enemy. During this fight, the Hammer Frames will continue to spawn indefinitely. Focus all your energy on defeating Hades, or this fight will never end. Unlike the other seven tournaments, the Hades Cup has a total of 50 Waves. I have divided them into groups of 10, as each group uses different rules.
Titan Cup means Sora is alone, and has a hit counter. Don't let it drop to 0! If you want to get to the Goal easy, use these waves and the Stitch trick. Then the rest of the tournament won't matter. Extra attacks will help get through Pete's enormous HP bar. The whole gang is back together for the next 10 waves. The Drive Gauge is sealed, but Limits cost less to use than normal. The time limit is back, but it has increased to around 10 minutes instead of 5.
Donald and Goofy are gone again, but Sora can use Drive Forms alone. The Cerberus Cup rule overwrites this, so Sora needs to defeat all the enemies to proceed. Enemies spawn in multiple groups that overlap, making counting them a bit difficult. Pop into Master of Final Form and spam Reflect to have an easy time. These waves are just normal fights. No access to Drive Forms other than Limit , no summons, no allies. At the end, focus on the Crescendos so they don't heal the Morning Stars.
Make your way through the Underworld Caverns to the Atrium, or land at The Lock and go through the only door to reach this area, the same place Sora fought Demyx for the first time. Mushroom No. The goal is not just to defeat all of them, but within 45 seconds to clear the Journal time.
Sora will need Final Form, Thundaga, and a whole lot of Ethers. Make sure Thundaga and Ether are on Sora's shortcuts for maximum efficiency.
Place Sora right next to the Mushroom and don't move him from that spot. Enter Final Form, then instigate the duel. Immediately cast Thundaga on the Mushroom, then start spamming to lock-on to the new Mushrooms as they appear.
Cast Thundaga to defeat each cluster of Mushrooms in turn, casting repeatedly on groups that are spread out to hit them all. This will take multiple tries, which you should use to try and memorize how many Thundagas it takes to clear each wave of enemies. Hide ads. Boss: Cerberus. The Underdome once acted as a coliseum where Hades pitted fiends of all kinds fight in the Underdrome. However, Zeus was against such senseless violence and closed it down, hiding it beyond the Lost Road.
Upon learning from Pete that the Keyblade could reopen, Hades kidnaps Megara and traps her in the Underdrome, forcing Sora to unlock the Underdrome to rescue her. Hades sent the heroes off to fight the Hydra , while he plans to restart the games. The Underworld is the dwelling place of Hades. Although it is considered a part of Olympus Coliseum in regards to game mechanics, it is considered a distinct area in the story. The Underworld is also home to the Underdrome where Sora can take part in tournaments.
The Underworld can be accessed through the Coliseum Gates. From there, two paths into the Underworld branch off. Sora, Donald , and Goofy emerge in the Underworld when they first arrive and meet Megara , who is on a quest to convince Hades to stop bothering Hercules.
When Sora confronts Hades, he summons Auron , who quickly switches to Sora's side. Hades cannot be hurt in the Underworld, so the team attempts to escape, and Auron and Sora are forced to take on Cerberus before they can leave the Underworld. Back up top, Hercules offers the junior heroes the Olympus Stone , which stops the Underworld from draining all their strength; however, the stone has been stolen by someone in a black cloak.
Looking for the stone, they encounter and have their first confrontation with Demyx. The team then rescues Meg with the help of Hercules and Pegasus before opening another gateway with the Olympus Stone.
When the team enters the world for a second time, the Underdrome has been unlocked, presumably when Sora used his Keyblade to open a wall during the first visit.
